What is Museumnight Kids (Museumnacht Kids)?
Museumnight Kids is an evening full of art and culture for families with children between 4 and 12 years old. Between 5 pm and 9 pm, the doors of the participating museums and cultural institutions will be opened to the public. Besides the current exhibitions, each participant has an extra cool program to experience. During this event children will playfully learn about the city’s cultural heritage. Museumnight Kids is the cultural p-art-y for the whole family.
When is Museumnight Kids Utrecht?
Saturday October 28, 2023 from 5 pm to 9 pm. The afterparty is from 9 pm to 10 pm.

We will announce the program friday 4th August.
Do I have to register for the activities?
No, you do not need to register in advance. You can enter any participating institution with your wristband and ask about the availability of the workshops.
Is there special transport to and from the different locations?
We advice you to go by bike. You are most portable by bike, on foot or public transport.

When do ticket sales start?
The ticket sales will start on Wednesday the 8st of August at 2 pm at our webshop ‘tickets’
What are the ticket prices?
Both parents and children need a ticket.

Child ticket (3 – 12 years) – €7.50
Adult ticket (13+) – €7.50
Kids (0 – 2 years) – Free
Please note: You pay €0.50 transaction costs per order.
Are there any special discounts?
Are you in possession of a U-Pass? Please send us an e-mail.
Besides there are no special discounts. The Museumcard or CJP pass are also not valid during Museumnight Kids.
How do I get the entrance wristband?
Step 1
From Monday 1 August 12 pm you can buy your tickets via our webshop. After the purchase you will receive an e-mail with the e-ticket(s) that you can download.
Step 2
On Saturday 15 October there will be several points in the city where you can scan the e-ticket (on your phone). These exchange points will be announced soon.
Step 3
After scanning the ticket, you will receive a wristband. This collectors item gives you access to all participating locations.
Step 4
You are ready to discover Museumnight Kids Utrecht!
Don’t forget to put those hands in the air, because they will check whether you have a wristband at every location.
Is The Netherlands Museum Pass valid during Museumnight Kids?
No. Museumnight Kids is an event and not a regular museum visit.
